CHAOS OF WAR AND IDENTITY CRISIS: TYPOLOGICAL DOMINANTS OF NARRATIVES ABOUT TRAUMA IN MODERN UKRAINIAN LITERATURE

The article presents a study of the phenomenon narratives about trauma in modern Ukrainian literature - based on works devoted to Russian-Ukrainian war. focus is two examples: media project "Another Day: War Diaries" and Oleksandr Mykhed's fairy tale "Cat, Rooster, Cupboard". purpose analyze attributive features story traumatic events, clarify definition "trauma novel", genre events that appear literature. Research results conclusions. Artistic practices understanding war are formed context trends. first tendency neorealism as special way reproduce truth trauma, chaos war, documentary, impressive facts. second depict fundamental changes identity characters.
